Why Christian Education?

1. Supports the family in fulfilling Deuteronomy 6:4-7 that states, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord your God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

2. Provides a biblically based curriculum that teaches a Christian worldview and examines all knowledge as part of God’s planned creation.

3. Models Christian character and love through godly teachers and staff who serve as the school’s “Living Curriculum.”

4. Encourages students and staff to express their faith and to apply the word of God to every aspect of school life.

5. Supports the Scriptures absolute standard of moral and ethical living.

6. Provides students with the spiritual basis on which they can build their lives and successfully meet any challenge that God brings into their lives.

7. Teaches students that they need to apply their faith to the world and not become identified with the world.

8. Makes knowing God the ultimate goal of education.

9. Meets the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of children.

10. Directs students towards personal faith in Jesus Christ.

11. Encourages students to fulfill the great commission in whatever career they pursue.

13. Trains a child in righteousness.

14. Centers education on God and His will for us, not on the individual and what society wants.
